Admission Policies

The admission process includes the following:

• Each resident must have personal interview.

• At time of interview, each new resident reads the guidelines and must agree to them.

• We pray over each prospective resident to see if they will benefit from our program.

Our guidelines are based on 10 biblical principles. We believe God has called us to minister to young women who are hurting typically because of their “lack of knowledge” of these very truths. The guidelines may be obtained by contacting The Living Vine.

The Living Vine submits to the rigorous standards of the state of Georgia with regard to maternity homes in order to be licensed. Therefore, at the interview we pass out a list of requirements for entrance.
Because The Living Vine is not a shelter, or a lock-down facility, our admission follows a structured process which could take up to two weeks. When a prospective resident or guardian calls to inquire about our program, we set up a two and a half hour conference. which includes a tour of the home and reading the guidelines. The prospective resident must then agree to submit to the guidelines.

In order to schedule an interview, please call the office between the hours of 9:00 to 3:00, Monday through Friday, and ask for the Director of Admissions.
