"I have had one of the best summers of my life working as a missionary at The Living Vine.  God has shown me so many things about myself, ministry, and building relationships.  Watching the girls deal with their painful family situations has been very emotional for me.  It has prompted me to run to Isaiah 61, reminding me that He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty for captives and freedom for prisoners.  I am able to tell them that God will give them beauty for their ashes. 

Seeing God work in the lives of these young women, as they are in the process of being set free from the enemy’s bondage, has been amazing.  Some of them believe the lie that they are not beautiful, worthy, or capable and I am honored to be a part of a ministry that God is using to display His love and grace that sets these girls free.     

I have been taught to watch and see where God is working and then join in (Henry Blackaby, Experiencing God); God is definitely working at The Living Vine.  Not only is it a unique place, but it is evident that the Lord has His hand over this home."
